Accommodation
These are suggested links to a few places where you can stay in Santa Fe. Please note we are not recommending any particular accommodation but offering you a wide range of options for you to investigate for yourself. If you have any questions for our gound crew regarding accommodation, then the place to ask those questions is on the Community Space notice board as the answers may benefit other delegates. Please note that our ground crew cannot book accomodation for you.
Our suggested hotel is:
320 Galisteo Street • Santa Fe, New Mexico 87501
Reservations Department: (800) 734-9910
Front Desk/Guest Rooms: (505) 995-0800

If you look at their website you can see that there is a wide range of options of rooms offering both single and double accomodation, rooms with fridges, rooms without fridges, (if you want a fridge make sure you ask for it when you book), rooms with fireplaces and rooms without fireplaces, rooms with doors leading to patios for smokers (if you are a smoker and want this facility make sure you ask for it when you book), twin beds, double beds, and so on, and all with ensuites. There is also free parking, a business centre, a small gym, ice machines, and complimentary wifi in all rooms. They do not sell wine but you can BYO and drink it on the patio that opens out from the dining area.
The Old Santa Fe Inn is within few minutes' walking distance of cafes and restaurants and 5 blocks from the historic Plaza. It will also be the pick-up point for driving all the delegates to the lectures at the Santa Fe Community College. So if you decide to stay somewhere else and you wish to get a lift to the conference venue, you will need to find your own way to The Old Santa Fe Inn by the appropriate time.
You don't need to stay at this inn. However, this is where most of the delegates will be staying. So if you want to hang out with the group, then book in here. In terms of reasonable hotel accomodation price-wise and with the variety of room options detailed above and close to the city centre, it is the best deal around that we could find.
If you want to share with someone else, you will need to connect up with them via the Forum and then both contact The Old Santa Fe Inn together and make the booking.
If you do not wish to book with the Old Santa Fe Inn or they are booked out then here are some other options

Here is a website which will link you up with local people who have rooms to rent in their homes, or small bed and breakfast which are very affordable. Simple type Santa Fe in the "Where are you going?" box and then it will give you a current list with a map.
